Marie Cosnay lives in Bayonne in the Basque Country, is a writer, translator of ancient texts, and keeps chronicles on the blog hosted by Médiapart. She recently published Vie de HB (Nous, 2016), Jours de répit à Baigorri (Créaphis, 2017) and Éléphantesque (Cheyne, 2018). Éditions de l'Ogre has also published Cordelia la Guerre (2015) and Aquerò (2017).
Marie Cosnay received the Nelly Sachs Prize and the Bernard Hoepffner Prize for her outstanding translation of Ovid's Metamorphoses (Ogre, 2017).
