A libertine artist, an art-loving spy, a mysterious young lover, a blonde singer with a robotic flow, a 148-carat diamond, a secret service called Mélanco, quite a few complications and, inevitably, a putsch in Port-Merveille.

Let’s recap. We know how Simone met the man who would become, for a time, her fourth husband. We know Simone’s profession (cartoonist), we know her age (she doesn’t do them), her morals (how to say?), her friendships (a famous ribambelle), her habits (of upset housewife). We learned about her things that she probably didn’t even know herself. We only have to understand the role she played in the famous diamond affair of Port-Merveille.
